In an effort to feel as at home here as possible there is a way to make OOC or In-character statuses here on the forum.
{ Please note that you are not limited to doing this in world forums nor are you limited to do this in the OOC section, as you can post in both. }
To differentiate a status from a story line rp will be simple!
The creation of one will be the same as creating a thread, but with a modification. The poster of the status will make a thread and in the title of the topic and will write "status". Down below that field where it says " None (use implicit) " they will choose the color black so the title is not shown.
Then, in the description you may begin your OCC status. If its short you can write all of it in there if the characters will let you or you can finish your status in the message body.
People can post and respond to your status as they can on FB.
OOC Status & In-Character
These can be done both in a world forum or in the OOC Status section. It's up to you where you would like it to go.
For example if I have a status important to a world forum I'm playing in I will create it in there in the main forum area or in a sub forum if that's where it needs to be. The same goes for a In-character status, which is different from a story line thread.
If I have a status that an be relevant to the forum as a whole I can post in the OOC Status section and can be viewed and replied on there.
